Sadar Bazaar, Karol Bagh, and Nehru Place run some of India's largest wholesale trade in general goods, garments, and electronics, most of it still coordinated over phone calls and WhatsApp. A storefront for a Delhi trader has to reflect how that trade actually works: bulk-order minimums, credit terms for repeat buyers, and catalogue depth in the thousands of SKUs, not a small D2C template stretched to fit.
It's worth noting that ONDC, the Open Network for Digital Commerce, was conceived and is administered by the DPIIT, part of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, headquartered in Delhi. By early 2026 the network had crossed 200 million cumulative transactions and over 760,000 onboarded sellers nationally, at commissions around 1 to 3 percent against 25 to 30 percent on closed marketplaces, and that policy proximity means Delhi traders often hear about ONDC integration earlier than sellers elsewhere.
Akoode builds in-house with no subcontracting, and every quote for a Delhi client is scoped and billed in rupees with GST, with DPDP obligations mapped into checkout and customer-data architecture from day one. Our Gurugram-based team is a short drive from most of Delhi for in-person catalogue and workflow sessions.
